Generational Revival PT. 2: God’s promises are always connected to Generational Revival

When God spoke His promises to us, he never said they had a possibility of not coming to pass because of incapability. It is time for the Body of Christ to move like they believe in the omnipresent, omnipotent, and omniscient God we have been proclaiming for centuries. It is time to live by faith in the salvation of the Lord, we know John 3:16 by heart, and we declare that Jesus has died for our sins and gave us healing but do we know what that means? From what I witness of the church I believe the answer is a clear-cut no. Unfortunately, We function below average when our God exceeds all understanding, ideas, and anything we can think of- He exceeds all things. Even in the conversation Jesus had with Nicodemus in John chapter 3, He let be known that the kingdom of God functions and carries a different type of wisdom that can only be powered by the baptism of the Spirit of God. It is funny how part of the Body that believes that God can do things for the sake of monetary gain, that “oh sow a seed because God said you a millionaire” foolishness, then there is the part that blesses that “poverty is humility”, like struggling is what God wants for you. Then there are the members who think that God’s words are true but unfortunately remain stagnant and disobedient because of a lack of faith that God qualified them for what He has called them to do. The devil is obviously having a field day and it needs to stop. When we truly accept who God has revealed Himself to be we will know that lack is not a believer’s portion and we will know that the reason is because we are called to help and minister (serve) others and resources are needed for that. Resources are needed to spread the gospel all over the world. When God gives us a vision, it is never about the profession itself but how that profession impacts people, and what He put in you to establish His kingdom there, and how it will help you strengthen His kingdom in the long run. Wouldn’t you think that the King will make sure that you are provided for in all areas of your life as long as you are running His race? While taking care of His Kingdom and tending to His sheep? Do you not know that God is Alpha and Omega, who exists in both the beginning, the end, and for eternity all at the same time? This should let you know that he thinks about every generation and puts plans in place for each generation to know Him. Many times when we see God’s promises of mercy in the Bible after repentance takes place, He promises that He will revive His people to a place of abundance but not only that, He will also bless their children in being a witness to who he is. We see this in Jeremiah 31, Joshua 4, Deuteronomy 6, and Isaiah 54.

John 3:3-8 NKJV

Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born [a]again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?”

Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

True generational wealth does not start with inheriting money but inheriting the principles of God. It starts in the spiritual and then manifests itself in all aspects of a person’s life, in relationships with people, marriage, Godly self-love, how a person treat others, stewardship, etc. Proverbs 13 verse 22 says “A good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children, But the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous”.

I feel like the Lord wanted to clear up His name a bit, letting us know we were focusing on the wrong things as a believer and the same goes for the world, and because of that we have not been prepared to spread the gospel and the world has not been prepared to receive it. When God releases His judgment in the form of wrath, it is due to idolatry and disobedience, especially in the form of rebellion against His laws and His word. If we look at our world or even our nation, America, there is rebellion being glorified by everyone and everywhere. It is a specific rebellion against the Lord Jesus Christ and the principles he set up for people to live in true royalty and holiness according to His kingdom. Everyone is supposed to be a part of the kingdom of God, however, unfortunately, some people reject God and choose to live by the darkness that exists outside of Him. I Love the conversation that Jesus had with the pharisee named Nicodemus, where John 3 verse 16 derives from, where we witness a pharisee (who at the time was part of a group of Jewish leaders who were against Jesus Christ) who showed interest and possibly belief in Jesus being the Messiah.

John 3:14-21 NKJV

“14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. 21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”

Jesus lets us know what happens to those who choose darkness over light, who choose darkness over Him. Jesus never came into the world to punish us but to save us from the things that would cause God’s punishment to come upon us. He does not identify us with sin either, that is why He came so that our identities can be restored in Him so that we can be revived back to Him to how we were originally supposed to be. This is why repentance comes before revival. We have to turn from our wicked ways and accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior to revive us and make us new. Are you familiar with Ezekiel 37 verses 1 through 14? It is a prophecy coming to life about God reviving his people back to life, that is His plan with everything He does, to bring people back to life. To give people His salvation and restore their hope again, to change the stories of people and give them testimonies, and so that others who witness them, will come back to life. Will come back to God through Jesus Christ.

If you have any friends, family members, co-workers, neighbors, even the world’s celebrities or whoever the Lord brings to your mind, you can declare Ezekiel 37 verses 1 through 14 and pray that God brings them back to Life by giving them salvation.

Ezekiel 37:1-4 NKJV

37 The hand of the Lord came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones. 2 Then He caused me to pass by them all around, and behold, there were very many in the open valley; and indeed they were very dry. 3 And He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?”So I answered, “O Lord God, You know.”4 Again He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! 5 Thus says the Lord God to these bones: “Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live. 6 I will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you, cover you with skin and put breath in you; and you shall live. Then you shall know that I am the Lord.” ’ 7 So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and suddenly a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to bone. 8 Indeed, as I looked, the sinews and the flesh came upon them, and the skin covered them over; but there was no breath in them. 9 Also He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.” 10 So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army.11 Then He said to me, “Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. They indeed say, ‘Our bones are dry, our hope is lost, and we ourselves are cut off!’ 12 Therefore prophesy and say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Behold, O My people, I will open your graves and cause you to come up from your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel. 13 Then you shall know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves, O My people, and brought you up from your graves. 14 I will put My Spirit in you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land. Then you shall know that I, the Lord, have spoken it and performed it,” says the Lord.’ ”

Anything God promises has to come to pass. Not only can He not lie, but the promises God makes to us are always….. And I mean this literally, always to bring revival in the coming generations as well. Doubt steals our faith in what God has declared, and the declaration of God never changes unless one thing does- our faith. Faith is what triggers us to start speaking what God said instead of what we see. Faith triggers angels to work non-stop fighting on our behalf until their assignment concerning us is complete. Faith is what causes our God, Yahweh, to do the impossible in our life and break the rules that exist outside of Him. Faith triggers the kingdom of God and His will to be done on earth as is in heaven. Faith is what brings the transformation of repentance and from there revival. I mentioned in the previous blog post that, The Lord showed me that what took place in Jeremiah 16, was to bring His people to the place of Jeremiah 33. We begin to see the transition in Jeremiah 29, where God is showing His mercy if people just call out to Him with a sincere heart. He is not even looking for perfect hearts in the law, he is looking for people who are willing to seek Him in sincerity. Here is His promise concerning this and us.

Jeremiah 29:10 -14

“10 For thus says the Lord: After seventy years are completed at Babylon, I will visit you and perform My good word toward you, and cause you to return to this place. 11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. 12 Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. 13 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back from your captivity; I will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you, says the Lord, and I will bring you to the place from which I cause you to be carried away captive.”

I pray that the caps fall off and that you all truly get this: God’s promises have and will come to pass what you see that contradicts it can not stop it, at all. Satan and His kingdom can not stop it at all. Even if people try to come against you or try sabotage you, it can not stop it at all. The only thing that can stop it is you not having faith. Doubt. Not that it would completely wipe out God’s promises for your life but will cancel them from manifesting physically in your life and in the nations.

So How do you have faith?

  • This is number 1 or else everything else will not work. Make sure you are not lukewarm and that you have the salvation of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord’s promises majority of the time are conditional and all start with one thing. Having the salvation of the Lord Jesus Christ. They are for His servants.

  • Make sure you have repented and live a life of holiness and obedience unto the Lord. Cut off all sin behind and do it abruptly in the name of Jesus.

  • Declare and prophesy the word of God over your life and over the situation you are believing God to bring change in. Do this until you see it completed in your real life until it comes to pass. I find complete chapters of scripture you can prophesy every day consistently until it is complete. For example, Isaiah 60 or Isaiah 61.

  • Declare what you know God has spoken to you concerning your life. Write them down on a physical sheet of prayer if you are able. Don’t make a vision board Just plainly write down what God has promised you, it can be multiple if it is more than one. Just like the previous step, do not stop until you see to manifestation in the physical realm.

  • Do all these things from a place of hope not hoping you’ll get hope. This means to do this with the faith of knowing that it will come to pass because Jesus is real and nothing is impossible for God, so He is indeed doing a work in your life even when you can not see it. The opposite would be hoping or wishing that Jesus will bring forth a change and not having faith that He indeed can. (John 14:13 and 1 John 5:14)

  • Do what God instructed you to do. Build and work on the visions God gave you, even if it doesn’t even look like it relate to what you are having faith for, be obedient.

  • Do prophetic acts of faith. If you are believing God to move have your suitcase ready with your clothes packed. If you are believing God for a baby, get you a baby outfit for when the youngin come forth. If you are believing God for restoration in your marriage begin to make a list of dates that you would like to go on with your spouse. The Holy Spirit blessed me with the last one just now, I pray that your marriage be restored to a better place than it’s ever been and that God exceeds your expectations. May God bless you with the strength and the encouragement to keep you going woman of God in the name of Jesus.

  • Oh my gosh, how could I forget, this is like the top 4 of the most important points here. Cast down the thoughts of doubt and every negative thought coming to your mind. Do not identify with them nor condemn yourself if you are dealing with this. Do not waver or be double-minded doubting if God said what you think He said. Choose to stand on what God said and not speak what doubt says or even what your feelings say because one moment you can be filled with joy of what the Lord has spoken and the next moment you can be dealing with doubt or anxious thoughts (which I rebuke on your behalf in Jesus name). Declare 2 Corinthians 10:5 in first person and then replace it with a scripture that speaks life into your situation (it can be one use from above also).

  • Allow God to use this to build up your faith in Him overall so that you begin moving in bolder faith in the future because you have a history with God doing what seemed impossible and He made it possible. Allow God to build up your faith so that you do not forget Him so that you do not forget His benefits. (Psalm 103:20).

  • Declare that you will testify. Declare that God can trust you with this testimony and cast down everything that would try to say otherwise. (Revelation 12:11)

Something that I want to add that the Holy Spirit brought to my mind is that we see the prefect example with the life of Abraham who stood on His covenant with God where God bless him and the generations after Him. This is part of the reason why we know God to be the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob that than covered Israel the nation, God’s chosen nation, that came from this lineage.

God made this such a pleasure and joy for me to write this blog post. It’s like he restored me to a place of joy and excitement as I was writing. This even blessed me as I am going through this myself. Thank you Jesus for your grace, as you are doing a work in me Lord I ask that you do a work in those reading this post in the name of Jesus I pray, Amen. God bless you in the name of Jesus and with the love of Jesus.

Also, If you would like to accept the love of God and His son, Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, or even if you have backslidden and want to return to the Lord, Here’s a prayer to guide you.

“ God almighty, I come before you to accept your love, to no longer reject you and what you have done for me. I choose to stop running from you and to finally stop rejecting myself of your love. Thank you for dying for me Lord Jesus, thank you for taking on my sins and shame. Thank you Lord that you became a curse for me so that I would no longer be bound by them but set free by your blood that was shed for me. Thank You for making yourself available to me, as friend, father, Lord, God, helper, comforter, savior, and all the good things I need in my life. Jesus I love you and ask you to help me keep loving you like how you want me to. I accept you completely as my Lord and savior, not what this world and demons have presented to me. Now I declare in the both spiritual and physical realm, that I not longer belong to Satan nor his Kingdom but according to Colossians 1:13, God has delivered me from the kingdom of darkness and has placed me in the Kingdom of light, where Jesus Christ is, I declare I belong to Jesus Christ and I now seat with Him In heavenly places. I rebuke all demonic retaliation in me making this decision and come into agreement with a sound mind in Jesus name. I repent, renounce, denounce, and divorce myself from all the sins I’ve committed (list what you can remember) and break the evil covenants associated with them, and I declare once again I am a part of the kingdom of Jesus Christ. In Jesus name I pray and seal this prayer in His blood, Amen.”

Hallelujah! Congratulations if you made this decision. I pray that you prevail in your walk in the Lord, that forces of darkness continue to fail concerning you, and that the forces of light continue to persevere and propel you in the name of Jesus.

And if you have not yet, get you a Bible. Please, it’s a lot of ghetto foolishness concerning Christianity and religion. The Bible is the only way to protect you from it and will show you how to be a Christian and have a real relationship with Jesus Christ.

Generational revival: God has to get us ready to be ready.
