ALL HAIL KING JESUS! ALL HAIL THE KING OF THE JEWS

Matthew 1:23

“Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel,[c] which means ‘God is with us.’”

Matthew 2:5 and 6 NLT

“In Bethlehem in Judea,” they said, “for this is what the prophet wrote: 'And you, O Bethlehem in the land of Judah, are not least among the ruling cities of Judah, for a ruler will come from you who will be the shepherd for my people Israel. '”

Matthew 13:55 NKJV

"Is this not the carpenter's son? Is not His mother called Mary? And His brothers James, Joses, Simon, and Judas?"

Jesus had come from the least likely of everything in His earthly life. From where He was born and even the family He was born into - not a wealthy one at all. He proved that the Greatest can come from anything. Any place, circumstance, and environment as long as God’s hand is upon it.

He came from the least likely city, Bethlehem.

He came from the least likely situation of a child being convinced, from a virgin woman who was not married.

He came from Nazareth, a town least expected for the Messiah to come from.

He was known as a Carpenter's son, which was a status that was least expected for one of royalty to come from. Matthew 13:55

John 18:36 and 37

36 Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here.”

37 Pilate, therefore, said to Him, “Are You a king then?” Jesus answered, “You say rightly that I am a king. For this cause, I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.”

We are not the greatest- no, however, the greatest has destined us to be great, to display the glory of His greatness on the stage of our lives. You are not a product of your environment.

When Jesus went before Pilate and was questioned about His kingdom and if He was a king, he responded that His kingdom is not here on earth. He knew he was the king of heaven. Although, He was born on earth, lived here for 33 years, and lived a human life, He existed before time because He is God. He never switched up to adapt to what the people around him and His environment were trying to make of Him. He knew He was the product of heaven who was on a mission here on earth. Now, we are not Jesus, but God lets us know that there is a similar truth for all human creation. The Lord let us know that before he laid the foundations of the Earth, he chose us, appointed us, and consecrated us. In Matthew 6:11, we know we are to have the Lord’s heavenly will be done on Earth as ambassadors of Christ. We are not a product of Earth but of heaven. We are temporary residents on Earth. (1 Peter 2:11)

Ephesians 1:4 NKJV

4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love,

Psalm 139:16 NLT

16 You saw me before I was born.

Every day of my life was recorded in your book.

Every moment was laid out

before a single day had passed.

Jeremiah 1:5

5 “I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb.

Before you were born I set you apart

and appointed you as my prophet to the nations.”

So my message is, do not allow your circumstances to distract you from going where you think you can not go. Nor think you can not break generational curses. Nor think you can not be the one to bring the bloodline to generational blessings. Nor think you can not be the one to break out of being a product of your environment but also be the one to shift it. You are not your parents' sins, you are the righteousness of God (2 Corinthians 5:21). You are not your past sins, nor are you your current sins; we serve a God who has gifted us with repentance and He remembers our sins no more. Praise be to the Lord Jesus Christ who through Him, makes us new creatures in Him and causes the old things to pass away and all things become new which causes the inheritance of Christ Jesus, to come. Old things include everything that died with Christ. Your struggles, sins, addictions, and sinful ways of thinking, both present and past are old. Although you may be currently dealing with some of these things, declare that you are a new creature in Christ and that those things are old and will pass away. The beauty of this scripture is that it does not say all old things have passed away but it does say that all things have become new. God may have washed your sins away with the precious blood of Jesus Christ but He will most definitely turn them into a testimony for His glory and for your good. Romans 8:28 tells us, “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” Genesis 50:20 says, “But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.”

Matthew 27: 29 “When they had [a]twisted a crown of thorns, they put it on His head, and a reed in His right hand. And they bowed the knee before Him and mocked Him, saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!”

So when I hear All hail the king of The Jews, a truth said in mockery by the Roman officers, I also hear “All hail the King of the free”. Who are the free? Those who believe that Jesus Christ, the king, is the Son of God, the Messiah (God’s chosen and anointed), is Lord, and Savior. Those who believe in the Son who sets people free indeed set us free. Those people are us, who believe that Jesus died for our sins and redeemed us. So remember through Him we are new.

2 Corinthians 5:17 NKJV

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”
